Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AptitudeIE (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. AptitudeIE is developed and operated by Auvorix. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with An Garda Síochána or any Irish government authority.

2. Description of Service

AptitudeIE is an independent study tool providing practice questions, mock exams, and performance analytics to help users prepare for the Garda Síochána aptitude test. The content is based on publicly available information about the exam format and is created independently by Auvorix.

3. User Accounts

You must sign in using a valid Google or Apple account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

AptitudeIE offers both free and premium tiers. Premium features are available via in-app purchase. All payments are processed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

• Subscription fees are charged at the time of purchase
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law
• You may restore purchases at any time via the Settings screen
• Auvorix reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

5. Intellectual Property

All content within AptitudeIE — including questions, explanations, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Auvorix or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

AptitudeIE is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that use of the App will result in passing the Garda aptitude test. Practice questions are for preparation purposes only and may not reflect the exact content of the official exam. Auvorix is not responsible for any exam outcomes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auvorix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Auvorix reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the App.
